The Ultimate Sweet Spot – Living in the Cycle of Healthy Transformation.™

Do you need help getting unstuck? Learn about The Cycle of Healthy Transformation
Romans 12:2 (NKJV) – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

  • Why do some people seem to constantly be moving forward in life while others seem stuck?
  • What are the people who are growing and becoming more healthy doing, that others are not?
  • What causes some people to get off track while others are able to stay intentionally focused?

These questions and many others just like them are common in my line of work. I usually get the phone call from people or organizations when they are running out of answers to those kinds of questions. They are tired from trying all that they know to try. Or possibly, they are struggling to find the ongoing motivation to continue to try and figure it all out. The idea of getting into a rhythm of positive growth and healthiness seems a foggy mystery and also daunting to chase.

Luckily there is a real and simple solution to getting out of a place of stagnation. It is to find, and get into, the cycle of healthy transformation. That is why a simple guy like me can help almost anybody navigate solutions in almost any situation. Because I don’t have to have the answer to your problems, I just need to help you get into, and stay in, the cycle of healthy transformation so that you can see the answers and solutions to your problems for yourself. Sounds easy enough. But how ?

It is ultimately God, through the Holy Spirit, who is going to provide the revelation, discernment, strength, courage, wisdom and farthest reaching solution to you actually being transformed into a better place. But, the reality is that He is ready and willing and able to help you do that today, just like He was yesterday, last week, last month and last year. It is not a matter of His willingness to resource and support you forward in the journey, that has always been there. What has to change is your willingness to cooperate fully with the process of transformation through renewal done His way.

You can try it your own way, and many do. Sadly, we often look from the inside out into their lives and label them as successful, high drive rock stars. Movers and shakers. But ultimately without a close walk with God (Romans 12:2) in the equation, you are simply in a cycle of doing, and tracking results. That can work for a season, but never for the long haul. The guy who everybody looks up to today, can easily become the guy who lost it all or found it all worthless tomorrow. Anybody can do transformation at some level. Only God can catapult you into truly wholistic healthy transformation in the ultimate sense.

For true healthy and abundant transformation to take place you have to be willing to:

Embrace awareness fully – Even if it means learning truths about yourself and your circumstances that are painful, difficult, embarrassing, confusing and so on. You will learn many positive things as well, and that is fun and most people don’t have a problem sticking with fun. The push back comes when it gets tough and ugly. You must choose to dedicate the majority of your time to intentional learning. Learning what the reality is that is around you in whole, not just your personal reality.

Align with the truth completely – What good is it to know that a change has to be made if the willingness to change is not there. For transformation to take place, you must pursue, allow and appreciate change. You have to have an attitude of complete obedience to the truths that are revealed to you. When all the signs say “go in this new direction” – you go. You don’t just talk about it, think about it, wish it would – or could – or should, you agree and take steps to get there. Even if they are very small steps, you move forward.

When you have awareness followed by alignment you get a new perspective. Winning causes you to see the game differently. Progress means that the end destination is closer and more in focus and easier to see than it was before. Having a healthy perspective is like wearing trifocal glasses for your life. You can see what is right in front of you, what is ahead in the near future and what is far out in the distance. All with clarity and focus.

Then and only then does renewal happen. Renewal is refreshing, it is awakening, recharging, reenergizing, regenerative and rejuvenating – it is were revival takes place. Without renewal, we would never have the energy to continue the journey. It supplies the infusion of motivation and resolve to jump back into the beginning of the cycle, at awareness, and then the stamina to go on to alignment. Awareness and alignment is where the hard work is done. Without a fresh perspective and a healthy shot of renewal the cycle is broken and many give up.

When you fully engage all four components of the process – you have found, and will begin to enjoy the results of, the Cycle of Healthy Transformation.

Take a look at the graphic above: where is your weak spot? Where do you usually jump off the cycle? where do you need help? We all need help. Are you willing to seek it out? Step 1 is always to start by seeking new awareness. What new awareness can you align yourself with today?
